Seahawk Terminal, Daniel Franco, Bay LTD

The Bay Ltd. legacy began over 68 years ago when Mr. Marvin L. Berry founded the family owned Berry Contracting, Inc. in 1953. Bay’s modern fleet of erection equipment includes our upgraded, 193 axle Nicolas Self Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMTs) and 130 modern hydraulic truck cranes with lift capacities ranging from 40 to 1200 tons.

Since getting 3D Lift plan, we have completed all levels of training giving us capabilities of incorporating customers plot plans or aerial images to give our customers a more realistic view of their jobsite. The software also has given us the ability to be able to search for the most efficient crane in our fleet for potential jobs, saving both our company and customers money in mobilization and man hours on the job.

Using 3D Lift Plan we were able to outbid our competition by showing how our LTM 1120-9.1 (1200 ton hydraulic) would be able to mobilize, build up, and complete the job safely in a fraction of the time a crawler of the same lifting capacity would have.

3D Lift Plan has become an everyday tool for our company to show our team of project mangers, estimators, and supervisors accurate representations of cranes on jobsites, helping us avoid any potential obstacles and bid jobs better, resulting in more work for our company.
